Materials and Construction
The attention to detail and quality of construction truly separate us from other companies. 

16 gauge galvanized steel is used to build the floor frame. The steel floors do not rot, are perfectly straight, are insect proof, will not warp, split or crack and are stronger than wood. The decking is sealed 3/4 inch tongue and groove plywood for a moisture resistant floor that will be strong enough and will last.

Our proprietary door latch is tapered to close easily and still create a tight seal. The latch has a built-in lock that comes with a key and as a safety feature, it can always be opened from the inside, even if it's locked!

Duratemp Plywood Siding™.
The plywood provides superior strength and the composite face provides a smooth paint-able surface that is pre-primed and sealed. Duratemp is guaranteed for 25 years.

2x4 construction. Grade 2 lumber is used for all wall and rafter framing. Trusses are connected with steel plates, the way trusses are supposed to be built! The 2x4’s used are new and not rejects from other projects.c

OSB roof decking. This is the same roof decking used on residential construction.

Durable Doors. With hinges bolted to the doors and the frame and the doors framed on both sides, the doors will easily withstand being left open on a windy day. The double door design also eliminates sagging and creates a tight seal all the way around both doors to keep moisture out. We add steel stiffeners to resist temperature variations that can cause warping. With steel stiffeners, the door seal will remain as tight as it is the day the shed is installed.

Paint. We use premium quality Sherwin Williams paint. Two coats of paint are applied to the baked on primer sealer. The paint is applied using an airless application machine, which applies significantly more material in a more consistent fashion than other methods. The painting is done inside our climate-controlled factory and we will gladly paint the shed any color you choose and will even match samples.

30-Year Shingles. The Architectural shingles are rated for winds up to 80 mph and higher wind ratings are available. There are a variety of colors to choose from.
